The Rolex Day-Date 40 is the modern version of the watch famously nicknamed the President. When it was introduced in 1956, the Day-Date was the first wristwatch to display both the day of the week and the date in windows on the dial, and it has since become a lasting symbol of achievement.

The Day-Date is made exclusively in 18 ct gold or platinum. The 40 mm model is powered by the self-winding calibre 3255, with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, inside an Oyster case water-resistant to 100 metres.
